Hello! I'm Joshua Demian,
a portrait and editorial photographer in Vancouver with a background in product and graphic design. Coming up through design school, I learned to think practically. I build shoots around an idea: what the image needs to do, who it's for, why anyone should stop scrolling for it. I like real places, real moments, and the shot where someone forgets they're being photographed. By day I'm Creative Director at Overtime Marketing, directing photo and video for brands. The rest of the time I shoot freelance: portraits, apparel and product work, and concept shoots I care about more than is strictly professional.
